Season of Gratitude
Good tidings of comfort and books.
This past month has been difficult for many. Here's a thoughtful essay from a dear friend, Phil, on living with insecurity. Give it a read, it's got a gentle wisdom and it's full of grace - we can all use some calm, wise counsel this time of year, yes?
In our house, fate has been rather kind to us this past month, and we feel especially blessed. We're healthy, we've had some successes, and tomorrow we'll have a house full of family and friends.
Below, there's a smattering of upcoming news and events, but generally, I'm looking forward to the opportunity to support my favorite people this holiday season: booksellers and readers. Oh, and authors, of course. I have some favorite books to recommend - so you'll just have to find me at Broadway Books this Saturday for more info! (Or, stay tuned for my December newsletter which will be chock full of recommended reads).
Meanwhile, Happy Thanksgiving to all - and for my international friends, sending love your way, too.
