What? Not another writer newsletter!

Hello, hello my literary buds. Do you get pummeled by SPAMMY emails and swear you won’t sign up for any more? Yeah, me too. So why should you subscribe to LET’S TALK ABOUT WRITING? What’s in it for you? What’s the value in hitting that SUBSCRIBE button? Let me ask you this:

  1. Do you ponder POV, tense, character arc and plot holes?

  2. Do you suffer from blank-screen-of-death?

  3. Do you have a drawer draft you want to plunge back into?

  4. Are you wondering how to marry plot and character, and from delight to despair during the course of a writing session?

Maybe you just want some tips on building a career in writing/editing/coaching from someone who has made a buttload of mistakes and wrong turns and might save you from falling down some false rabbit holes. Friends, I still have the scars. But in my thirty-plus years in the scribe world, I’ve had the pleasure of working with best-selling authors: (wordsinahurry.com), as well as writers working on their first books, and have done a fair amount of writing myself (next up, FAULTLAND, a speculative domestic thriller out from Ooligan Press March, 2021), and I’m always up for a super-nerdy confab about, say, hand-selling books.

Which brings me to…

$ versus free

They say the best things in life are free, and I believe in inclusive information sharing, so I plan to send out one public newsletter each month accessible to all. But for $5/month ($50/year) consider subscribing and get a bi-weekly subscriber-newsletter giving you access to particulars on craft, occasional special discounts on editing services, and some of the gleaned and stolen magic I’ve been secretly collecting over the years.

How often will you clog my inbox?

Twice a month, mostly!
